We are BioCryst.

A different kind of biotech company. A global company with over three decades of experience in drug discovery, development, and commercialisation, guided by our passion for not settling for “ordinary” in our quest to develop novel medicines. We listen. We understand. We know that little things can make a big difference to patients.

We aim to deliver extraordinary first-in-class or best-in-class oral small-molecule and protein therapeutics for complement-mediated and other rare diseases. It’s what sets BioCryst apart – and what we strive to achieve. Our transparent and supportive culture transforms employees into owners, converts challenges into resilience, and empowers people to achieve beyond what they think is possible. Let’s connect >>

Part of a commercial stage biotech focused on rare disease and founded in Birmingham, Alabama over 35 years ago, we are fortunate to have this experience and reach behind us. Quality of life for those living with hereditary angioedema (HAE) is what drives us, and on this journey, I believe it is our culture that sets us apart. Whether in the field or home office, our team in Europe is committed to living our values and to supporting the patients we look to serve.
